Main Conflict

The main conflict that grows in the story is how Grey Fallon's family is struggling on how to deal with their daugther/sister Maggie's cancer . Grey's parents are having a hard time trying to keep a positive side to each other and are falling apart . Grey's mom is looking from everything in the book to help her duagther by having organic products, no chemicals in the house, etc.., while shes doing this Grey's father has no belief in these products because he knows from his field of work that they have no better purpose compared to having normal products.
Grey does not understnd fully about Maggie's problem, he thoguht that taking away any chemicals or any thing non organic would be the best thing for his sister's cancer like his mother is doing. Grey leaves his house decides to live in a forest so that he does not have any chemical products in his life. The forest is outside a farm that he works on but he still comes home on weekends to see his family and every time he does he realizes that he misses all his old stuff like tv, xbox , hot showers etc..

What do you think will happen to Grey Fallon as he lives out in the forest now because he hates the fact that every products today has chemicals that are bad for our health but every time he goes home he realize he misses his modern life?
Do u think also that he has gone to far to take chemicals out of his life and would u do the same?

  1. I think that the longer that he lives out there in the forest the less he will miss the things that he left at home in his modern life. I think also that we shold be aware that many things today have chemmicals that are bad for our health but there are options to buy products that are organic so they have chemicals that are less harmful to yourself. Chemical products are jsut a part of modern day life. I think that he could find a balance between a modern life and wanting to live without as many chemical products. I dont think that i would go to that extreme to get away from chemical products but i think if i was put in that situation i would make myself more aware of my household content.

  2. I think that he will soon miss all the things he use to love, and come home. I think he has gone to hard to take chemicals out of his life, and its a part of life, and I would never do the same.

  3. I think if he stays out there long enough he could get used to it. Personally that's going a little bit to far, I wouldn't do it the way he is. But thats his decision.

  4. i think going out to live in the forest to get away from chemicals is a bit extreme but it seems like it works for him, but its a good way to get chemicals out of his system
